The Top 5 Recipes of 2017

Okay, another year in the can...goodbye 2017, hello 2018!

But before we completely close the books on 2017, what were some of the most popular recipes on Amish365?

For this I'm using a "sampler stat" set because it's easier for me to gather rather than mining Google Analytics for exact numbers.  So the numbers I am giving you are actually higher in reality, but this gives you a good taste.

AMISH BROCCOLI SALAD:  This recipe has led the pack on Amish365 for a couple of years now but, geez, 2017 is when it became bonafide viral.  No other recipe on Amish365 even came close.  With 105,846 views Broccoli Salad is the undisputed site champ.  This is a great recipe, whether it's for a summer picnic for Thanksgiving.  So if you haven't had a chance to sample this recipe yet, here it is.

AMISH DOUGHNUTS:  Again, nothing even came close to broccoli salad.  The next highest recipe had 18,819 views, so, yeah, not even close.  So click here for this delicious "second place" recipe.

MARRIAGE MEATLOAF:  This recipe wore the crown for years as the top recipe on Amish365 and still performs strong, but nothing like several years ago.  Still, this is an old favorite. Click here for the recipe.

EASY AFTER-CHURCH FIVE-IN-ONE CASSEROLE:  This is just a good comfort food casserole.  Click here to give it a shot.

HOMEMADE BUTTERSCOTCH CREAM PIE:  This recipe, driven largely by Pinterest traffic, has performed super solid the past couple of years and it rounded out the top 5 this year with 9368 views. Click here for the recipe.

HONORABLE MENTION - BEST EVER BROWN SUGAR ICING:  This recipe has surprised me with how strong it has performed and if I can get a more appealing photo to go with it, this one may be the next broccoli salad.  The recipe tastes great. Click here for the recipe.
