Happy weekend, time for trending recipes!
Anecdotal evidence shows that the coronavirus has scrambled people back towards comfort foods, comforting, heavier foods that make one feel secure and at home. Also dishes that are easy to make during this pandemic. I think all of that reflects in the shift of trending recipes on Amish365. Take a look at what is trending:
COMFORTING ONE KETTLE SOUP: It doesn’t get much easier than this soup and it is comforting and filling, so if being cooped up is getting you down, this soup will perk you up. It’s an old Amish recipe, a very easy standby. Click here.
MENNONITE HOT DOG MEATLOAF: Wow, this seems to combine two comfort foods into one: hot dogs and meatloaf. Wow, double comfort! Click here for the recipe.
BARN-RAISING BREAKFAST: Comfort in the morning, this big way to start the day! Click here.
AMISH MOUNTAIN PIES: This is an amazing meal if you have the pie irons and a fire, a perfect meal for getting through a pandemic, so I can see why this is trending. You could be cut off from the grid and still eat well with this recipe. Click here.
AMISH BISCUIT MEATLOAF: More comfort food. Click here.
