We have some interesting stuff on blogroll today. In fact, this is my favorite blogroll in a long time, we have some "regulars" here along with some new blogs to Weekly Blogroll.  Let's start out with one of my favorite blogs to spotlight.

CHERYL MCNULTY ART:  Cheryl McNulty has done it again with a beautiful pastel portrait entitled "Kathryn in the Meadow", a gorgeous piece of work showing a young Amish girl cradling a calf. Some lucky person can snag a print of it too on her Etsy shop.  Her work really does stir the soul and inject a sense of serenity and peace, capturing the bucolic images of the Amish so well.     Take a gander at Kathryn in the Meadow here.

TOM THE BACKROADS TRAVELER:  Tom's posted some gorgeous Amish images this week, slightly altered to bring out the colors of Amish country.  You'd be surprised how bold and crisp colors can be on an Amish farm, whether it's the clothing or just the shiny black buggy. Click here to enjoy.

AMISH COUNTRY SPRING:  Bruce Stambaugh offers his thoughts on the arrival of spring in Ohio's Amish country.  Click here to read.  He accurately describes the last two winters here in Ohio: brutal.  And spring, both last year and this year, has been slow to show itself.

20 FUN PHRASES USED BY THE AMISH:  I'll admit, I've been visiting Amish communities for 20 plus years and I've not heard a ton of these phrases used, but each community and Amish person is different. Click here to read this fun, informative post.

AMISH HAM MEATBALLS:  Okay, meatball recipes are a dime a dozen, but ham meatballs balls?  This blogger has tweaked a typical Amish ham loaf recipe and turned it into something that sounds and looks amazing. Click here for the recipe!
