This is a really odd story and I'm not sure what to make of it….so, let's go over what we know:
This 18-year-old young Amish woman was last seen at the conclusion of church on Sunday and has not been seen since. Her family says it would be "unlike her" to just go away on her own. That gives the mission to find her a bit more urgency.

Still, there's also the fact that abductions, stranger abductions, are rare. Clearly, they happen. In fact, a Mennonite woman in New Mexico was abducted and killed after leaving church. The perpetrator was apprehended. But the community in New Mexico is remote, Bird-in-Hand, Pennsylvania, even on a Sunday, is pretty touristy and trafficked.
Here is the latest update on the disappearance of Linda Stoltzfoos. The FBI has joined in the search. Just based on hunches and what I know about Amish culture, I'm tending to believe this turn out to be a voluntary disappearance. That would be a better scenario than some of the others I can think of....time will hopefully tell. Let's keep the Stolzfoos family in our prayers.
