The coldest air in a generation is set to invade the Midwestern United States starting Sunday. It'll be a short stab of frigid air, by Wednesday it should begin to recede, but it will be brutal for 48 hours or so. Everyone stay safe and check on your elderly and shut-in relatives and friends. Here are some of your tracking tools for the storm:
KENTUCKY WEATHER CENTER: This is a website I enjoy, he updates the blog several times a day, 365 days a year and although he focuses on Kentucky, southern Ohio and southern Indiana are covered as well.
ACCUWEATHER: My old, reliable source of up-to-date weather info.
INTELLICAST RADAR: Follow the storm in real time here.
What are the conditions where you are?

Hi Kevin, so far noting yet, we're supposed to get about a foot starting at 9:00 tonight going non-stop into Monday morning. I'm a few hours east of Lovina.

Just started snowing here at a moderate rate. (far SE side of Chicago, IN border)
