Weekly Blogroll: 25 Amish Recipes, Amish Dinner Rolls, Plain Marie, and Cheryl's Art in Amish Country News!

We have some great things on Blogroll this week, so I won't waste a lot of time with chit-chat:) Here we go!

AMISH DINNER ROLLS:  Done right, there are few things better than a homemade dinner roll.  Soft and squishy or crusty with a soft inside, all are good with me (although I am partial to the crusty).  Take a look at this fun, informative video on how to make your own Amish-style dinner rolls here!

25 Amish Recipes!  Graceful Little Honeybee has compiled an "Amish Recipe Hall of Fame" of sorts. Check out this wonderful repository of recipes (there are even a couple of Amish365 ones on there!) from breakfast to dessert here!

PEACE:   The Amish are, at their core, pacifists. Conflict is not something that the Amish are programmed to seek out and, in fact, they avoid it and I like that.  Click here to read Plain Marie's post about the peace-loving ways of the Plain People.

zooksEDITOR'S PICK - AMISH ARTWORK:  I love Cheryl McNulty's Amish artwork.  She just does such a great job of capturing what so many of us find appealing about Amish life. Her portraits just give me a sense of peace and tranquility.  Congratulations to Cheryl, because one of her Amish artwork pieces made the cover of Amish Country News, a widely distributed tourism publication in Lancaster County! Click here to see how this beautiful cover came about, see more images, and see who the "model" was for the photo!
