If you aren't on the daily e-newsletter list, please sign up! Most of my posts have more context to those who get the e-newsletter.  So, this is our weekly post where we peruse the blogosphere in search of everything and anything Amish.  Let's get to it!

    Amish Peanut Butter Bread

AMISH PEANUT BUTTER BREAD:  I LOVE anything peanut butter, combine it with chocolate and I love it even more.  But as much as I love peanut butter, I was a little skeptical when I saw this recipe. Still, Patricia makes a good case for it and the photos look delicious. So I may have to try this one. Click here for this interesting Amish recipe!

AMISH GIRL WITH LAMB:  I always love to see what Cheryl McNulty is going to come up with when she paints something Amish and this painting has me intrigued. Can't wait to see how it will turn out, click here to see the early stages of her next painting: Amish Girl With a Lamb!

BRUCE STAMBAUGH:  Bruce is a wonderful writer who spent most of his life as an administrator and educator among the Amish in Holmes County, Ohio before moving to Virginia.  His writing is superb, and this is another poignant piece.

COMFORT FOOD CLASSIC - HOMESTYLE CHICKEN POT PIE:  Meemaw is a blogger based in Kalona, Iowa, the state's largest and oldest Amish community...many of her recipes have an Amish bent to them and this comforting chicken pot pie is one of them, try this delicious dinner!

KATIE TROYER:  While Pinecraft, Florida's lone Amish settlement, is now largely empty for the season, that doesn't mean there isn't new activity, checking out these new homes going up, the photo at the bottom is of a huge new home being built by an Amish bakery owner in Ohio. Click here to see.
