We have a little bit of something for everyone today in blogroll, from bread to dessert and beautiful photos!  So, let's get right to it!

BRUCE STAMBAUGH:  Fun to see his blog continuing from Virginia's Mennonite country.  He's posted some beautiful photos and made some compelling comparisons between Rockingham County, Virginia and Holmes County, Ohio. Click here.

EASY AMISH BRAN MUFFINS:  A bran muffins sounds about as exciting as eating cardboard, but I imagine if you get one that is actually well done it might be a more pleasant culinary experience. This seems about as good as any bran muffin recipe I've seen. Check out the recipe here.

TOM THE BACKROADS TRAVELER:  Ah, nothing better to decompress and de-stress than looking at and enjoying some of Tom the Backroads Traveller's photos, these are photos of Amish life along the backroads of rural Upstate New York.  Click here to enjoy!

BLOG SPIN - HOMEMADE HAMBURGER BUNS:   Wow, this recipe goes back a long way, it's a recipe for homemade Amish hamburger buns.  Man, I bet these are good.  But, geez, personally, that would be too much work for too little a pay off.  I think I'd rather just buy a package of hamburger buns, BUT, I am sure if you went through all this to make these, they'd be amazing.  Click here for the recipe.

YODER'S FROZEN STRAWBERRY DESSERT:  Patricia made a recipe from Wanda B's Friends Cookbook.  The recipe comes from a Dianne Yoder in northern Indiana.  And, as an aside, holy cow, Patricia has an active social life.  This dish was made for a Canasta group she's in, but she's always going somewhere, doing something....Right now for me it's all diapers, play groups, and splash pads...anyway, click here for the recipe....it looks amazing for a hot summer day.
