Amish bran muffins
AMISH BRAN MUFFINS: I have not had a good bran muffin in a long, long time and I might just have to try this one....I'm just so conditioned to think that a muffin needs to be sweet and glazy or bursting with berries, but this looks and sounds like a solid, fine muffin...click here for the recipe.

These are not Amish recipes, but they are GOOD recipes....and this blog is created and written by an Amish365 reader, so I'm always happy to share traffic. AMISH AND THE ORCHID: In some ways I feel sorry for this Amish farmer. If I were Amish, this would be my luck.....buy a farm out in the middle of nowhere, away from everyone and everything and, no, turns out his property is home to a rare orchid and he can't farm it.....SIGH....I can see both sides of this one....click here.
