We have an interesting mix of blogroll topics today, so let's get right to it!
HOMEMADE MEATLOAF MIX: This is a recipe from a Mennonite cookbook that allows you to mix up your meatloaf ahead of time, seal it up, freeze it, and then when you're ready you just shape it into a loaf and pop it in the oven. And it sounds very flavorful and tasty, so check out this great recipe from Charm City's blog!
HOMEMADE ZUCCHINI BREAD: The zucchini are out in force this time of year and, really, what is better than a zucchini bread spread with cold cream cheese on a hot summer day? Not much, in my opinion! Click here for this delicious recipe!
PINECRAFT SUMMER: Check out the latest from Katie Troyer...Florida's only Amish community is definitely quieter during the summer, but there are still visitors coming and going and it's always fun to see who Katie captures. Check out this week's posts here.
MEEMAW'S LEFTOVER CHICKEN WRAP: Meemaw is on the road this week, but she usually is sharing recipes from her home in Iowa's largest Amish community and this cool chicken wrap may be just the lunch to beat the heat. Click here.
AMISH COUNTRY CHERRY PIE FILLING: This is an interesting blog I found about a woman who married an ex-Amish man and now is she is blogging about her life in Lancaster County with him. The website is interesting, but I never really could find out how they met. To me, that would be the interesting story. Anyway, she has a few recipes on her page and I found this one for homemade cherry pie filling. Click here for the recipe.
