Wow, look at these homemade O'Henry bars....

AMISH O'HENRY BARS:  These O'Henry bars look O'Amazing....The Amish are all about creating copycat candy recipes.  I've seen homemade Twix Bars, copycat Almond Joys, and more and these O'Henry bars are in that same tradition.  I was happy to see Patrica at the Patchwork Quilt blog tackle these.  Click here.

BLOG RE-WIND - AMISH PEANUT BUTTER:   I love the homemade Amish peanut butter concoctions that are usually served at church services.  But Amish Indiana's idea of dipping some dark Ghiradelli chocolate into it is genius.  Man, that sounds good. Click here to read her post about Amish peanut butter.

AMISH ANGEL CREAM PIE:  Oooh, Meemaw gives us an old, old recipe from the Kalona, Iowa community, this angel cream pie sounds - and looks -fantastic. Click here.

AMISH INVENTIONS:  I agree with Katie Troyer, if something doesn't exist, and there is a need, the Amish will generally find it and fill it. Check out this cool invention for skirt-wearing women who want to ride bikes without their dress getting all caught up in the gears.

CLARK, MISSOURI:  A blogger visited Clark, Missouri on January 1 of this year.  New Year's Day is sort of an odd choice of days to visit an Amish settlement.  But the blogger came away with some fun, insightful, and interesting photos that really give you a good taste of Amish life in Clark. Click here to see the photos.
