We have a nice mix of recipes and posts to share in this week's Blogroll, so let's get right to it!

    Mennonite Chocolate-Nut Drop Cookies

CHOCOLATE NUT DROP COOKIES:  This is a superb-sounding recipe from a Canadian Mennonite cookbook. Click here for this wonderful recipe from Patricia's Patchwork Quilt website!    Just based on the photo, they look amazing.  I could probably polish off a whole tray of those!

PEACH COBBLER:  This recipe probably would not have even caught my eye if it weren't for the cookbook the recipe comes from.  It comes from the Amish-Mennonite community cookbook in Montezuma, Georgia.  I can guarantee you that any recipe from there is amazing and Georgia being peach country, I am sure the recipe is doubly good! Click here to take a look!

SALOMA FURLONG'S TROVE OF RECIPES:  Saloma grew up Amish and has since left. But the cooking and baking style, steeped by generations of cooking and baking wisdom, has stayed with her.  There are 5 or 6 classic Amish recipes on her page, from strawberry-rhubarb pie to sticky buns.  Check out the recipes here.

PICTURES FROM JAMESPORT:  Check out a collection of photos from an Amish home in Jamesport, Missouri.  Man, I bet that cookbook has some amazing recipes in it!  Besides that, the photos give you a good glimpse inside an Amish home in the Jamesport community.  Click here to see.

KATIE TROYER:  Always fun to see the latest posts and pictures from Florida's only Amish settlement. Click here.
