Man, this should be renamed "Tasty Tuesday" because there are a bunch of food-focused posts to share today. So let me get right into it so you all can salivate and enjoy!
INCREDIBLE CAKE: Okay, this is a recipe that Patricia found in an Amish cookbook and she decided to make it. I'm still amazed at all the baking she does. See, my problem, if I did that much baking, I'd be eating it all and I'd weigh 400 pounds. She seems to make a lot of her stuff and then give it away, that is the way to do it. Anyway click here for some Amish Incredible Cake!
AMISH STRAWBERRY TAPIOCA: I don't do tapioca much. I should. Seeing this Amish recipe makes me want to try some soon, it's a refreshing treat on a hot day. My great-grandmother made tapioca all the time. Click here for the recipe.

EDITOR'S PICK: AMISH BROWN SUGAR COOKIES: Man, I think I am in Heaven with this one....I could eat about 10 of those cookies. In one sitting. These look - and sound - amazing. Click here for the recipe.
AMISH IN GUADALAJARA: This is an interesting video I found. It's worth a glance, I think. There is very little context given, but these are Amish youth doing mission work in Guadalajara, Mexico through this organization. I can tell that at least some of the Amish are from Lancaster County, PA by the distinctive dress. Others may be more evangelical New Order Amish from elsewhere. There's some beautiful Amish singing in the beginning. Click here to watch.
NO-BAKE PEANUT BUTTER PIE: This blogger has actually been to one of my "bucket list" Amish communities: Union Grove, North Carolina. Unfortunately, she gives very sparse detail about the actual community. Still, you can glean some information. I may try to reach out the blogger for more. I think this peanut butter pie recipe comes from there. I think. Either way, it looks/sounds awesome. Click here for the recipe and to read more.
Since we are so food focused this week, I thought I'd share a couple of random blog posts with some beautiful Amish country scenery. Not sure in either case where these scenes are from, but enjoy!
