The increasing Amish population in Ohio has had a ripple effect on another: the barn owl population. The Amish in Holmes County, Ohio are generally good stewards of the land and avid bird-watchers. Several symposiums are held in Ohio each year bringing bird-watchers of all stripes together. Perhaps no bird has benefited more than this reclusive owl. Read more here.
