    Winter in Michigan

    Published: Jan 8, 2014 · Updated: Feb 2, 2021 by Kevin Williams | 1 Comment

Amish settlements throughout Indiana and Michigan have been grappling with a severe snowstorm that dumped up to a foot of the white stuff over the past couple of days.  Leave your car outside and it gets buried, ditto for a buggy.  Take a look at this buggy at Lovina's house, belonging to Susan's friend Mose.   Makes for a pretty scene, but a little difficult to dig out from!

Hi Kevin. Hope the 3 of you are all keeping warm now with getting the furnace fixed. I have a question. I have seen lots of buggy pictures and I was wondering where do the horses go when the Amish visit family or friends? Do they go in the stable in a spare stall? Out to pasture? Tied to a fence? Hope the horses are well tended to, I am sure they are since they rely so heavily on them. Stay warm and dry!
