Melt one stick butter. Brown, then add ½ cup +2 Tbl all purpose flour, and brown slightly.
Mix flour-butter mixture with salt and pepper then dip each steak slice in this mixture.
Discard remaining flour.
Fry sliced steaks in a hot skillet in oil or butter.
Place in a baking dish and layer with the gravy.
For the easy way out just dump some cream of mushroom soup on top instead of making a gravy. Bake at 300 for 30 minutes or so. Delicious with mashed potatoes.
