Amish Caramelized Baked Apples
A simple, delicious autumn dish

- 4-5 apples
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup flour
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup water
- 1 teaspoon butter
Peel and core apples, cut in slices and place in a 9 by 9 inch pan.
Place remaining ingredients in a saucepan,bring to a boil.
Simmer a few minutes until thickened.
Bake at 350 for 30-45 or until apples are soft.
Serve warm with whipped topping or ice cream.
