Heath Candy Bar Cookies
A holiday favorite!
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup shortening softened
- ⅓ cup butter
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 ½ cups flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 /2 teaspoon salt
- ½ cup walnuts, chopped optional
- 1 cup Heath chips
Instructions
- Mix shortening,butter and both sugars until well blended
- add egg and vanilla
- add the rest of theingredients mixing well
- Drop dough by roundedteaspoon on cookie sheet
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until lightly brown but still soft.
