Combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
Stir in oil until crumbly.
Gradually add enough milk to form a soft dough.
On a floured surface, knead slightly, and divide dough in two.
Roll each dough ball into a 16’ x 10” rectangle.
Press/crumble one pound of raw sausage on top of dough,leaving ½” at the sides.
Roll up from the wide 16” side, cinnamon-roll style.
Wrap in foil; chill at least 1 hour.
Remove foil and slice ½” thick.
Place on ungreased, rimmed baking sheets.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden browned.
