Amish Sweet Hot Dog Sauce
A delicious, sweet sauce that turns a drag dog into the star of your backyard barbecue!
Ingredients
- 3 /4 cup catsup
- ¼ cup tomato sauce
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1 teaspoon chopped onions
- 1 /2 teaspoon celery flakes
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Stir the catsup, tomato sauce, and brown sugar over medium heat for 5 minutes and then turn burner down to simmer.
- Add the rest of ingredients and stir and keep on simmer heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve on warm hot dogs.
- this recipe does 3 - 4 dogs, double recipe as needed.
