Brown Sugar and Garlic Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts OR 6 split breasts
  • 8 cloves garlic , minced
  • 8 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2-3 TB Extra virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Start by mincing the cloves of garlic and toasting in a small saute pan with extra virgin olive oil.
  • When the garlic is light brown, remove from the pan and put into a small bowl.
  • Let the garlic cool a few minutes and then mix in the of brown sugar.
  • Add salt and pepper and toss to combine.
  • Then place the chicken breasts in a baking dish.
  • Then simply sprinkle the brown sugar and garlic mixture over the chicken.
  • Roast chicken on 450 degrees for 30 minutes or until juices run clear.
  • While the chicken is cooking the brown sugar will become very bubbly.
  • When the chicken is done, let it rest in the pan for several minutes before serving
