Amish Pineapple Cake

with delicious cream cheese frosting!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1 pound 4 ounce can pineapple chunked
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup walnut pieces

Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • ¼ pound butter
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and can of pineapple (not drained).
  • Add eggs, vanilla and nuts.
  • Pour into baking pan and bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes
  • For the frosting, mix ingredients well and spread over cooled cake.
