Delicious Dutch Meatloaf

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ pound ground beef
  • 1 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • 1 medium-sized onion chopped
  • ½ can tomato sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Sauce

  • ½ can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar or molasses

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350.
  • Mix the ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, tomato sauce, egg, and seasonings.
  • Form into a loaf.
  • Put the meatloaf into a baking dish and put into the oven.
  • Then mix up the sauce ingredients and about 45 minutes into baking, remove the meatloaf from the oven and pour the sauce over.
  • Bake for 30 more minutes.Serve over a bed of noodles and with some veggies on the side.
