Amish Autumn Apple Salad

Ingredients
  

  • 20 ounces undrained crushed pineapple
  • 2 /3 cup sugar
  • 3 ounces lemon jello
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups diced unpeeled apples
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup whipped topping

Instructions

  • In a saucepan combine pineapple and sugar.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Boil for 3 minutes.
  • Add Jello.
  • Stir until dissolved.
  • Add cream cheese.
  • Stir until thoroughly combined.
  • Cool.
  • Fold in apples, nuts, and whipped topping.
