Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add sugar, salt, and half of flour.
Beat egg and add shortening.
Beat in rest of flour until smooth.
Drop by spoon into pan and let rise till double, about 30 minutes.
For the topping, mix the melted butter with half the cinnamon and brown sugar and spread on top of cake and bake.
Remove from oven after 30 minutes and spread the rest of the topping on and put back into the oven for 10 more minutes.
