Amish Chocolate Pecan Pie
A Thanksgiving tradition with a chocolate twist

- ¼ cup butter, melted
- ⅔ cup white sugar
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- ¾ cup Karo (I use natural sweeteners such as maple syrup)
- ¼ teas salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- ¾ cup pecans*chopped or halved
Preheat oven to 375.
Have an unbaked pie shell ready
.In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together until well combined.
Bake at 375 for 40-50 minutes or until set. Chill and enjoy.
