Amish Prune Cake
a delicious holiday treat, try prune cake isntead of plum pudding!

- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup prunes, cooked and seeded
- 1 cup black walnuts
- powdered sugar
Mix oil, eggs, and vanilla with dry ingredients.
Then add buttermilk and prunes.
Thoroughly blend with mixer.
Add nuts and spoon stir.
Bake 1 hour in tube pan at 350. Dust with powdered sugar. Cool, remove from pan and chill.
