Best-Ever Blueberry Frosting

This frosting pairs perfectly with a fluffy white cake

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ sticks of butter
  • 1 ½ cups of blueberry juice
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • cornstarch as needed

Instructions
 

  • Cream the butter and powdered sugar.
  • Beat butter and powdered sugar with an electric mixer
  • Stir in blueberries and resume beating on high speed
  • add vanilla
  • thicken with cornstarch if needed
  • Chill frosting in the refrigerator for one hour and then spread with spatula onto cooled cakes
