Homemade Hush Puppies
this is a delicious and easy recipe that kids and adults will love!
Ingredients
- 1 cup corn meal
- ⅓ cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- 1 cup creamed corn
Instructions
- Mix altogether and drop onto a cookie sheet with a small cookie scoop.
- Heat oil to 300 degrees.
- Place hush puppies in hot oil and fry until golden
