Honey Dijon Pork Chops With Cornmeal Breading
An amazing combination of flavors, but super easy to make for a quick supper.
- 4 pork chops
- 1 cup cornmeal
- ΒΌ cup Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon honey
- olive oil for dipping pork chops
Drizzle skillet with olive oil and put on high.
Combine mustard, cornmeal, seasonings, and honey in a bowl until you get a well-combined, MOIST mixture that easily packs and clumps (consistency of brown sugar)
Dip each side of the pork chop in olive oil
Using your hands, pack the cornmeal breading onto each side of the pork chop
Put into the skillet and cook about 10 minutes on each side.
Serve with rice or mashed potatoes
