Brown Sugar Banana Muffins

Ingredients
  

  • ·  2 teaspoons baking powder
  •  ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil or canola oil
  • ·     1 large egg, slightly beaten
  • ½ cup milk, whole or skim
  • 1 cup ripe mashed bananas
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • Grease and lightly flour 12 muffin cups or line with paper baking cups.
  • In a large bowl, stir together the baking powder, salt, baking soda, and nutmeg until evenly blended.
  • Add all the remaining ingredients, mixing only until the dry particles are moistened.
  • Fill the prepared muffin cups ⅔ full and bake until golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes.
