Amish Chocolate Chip Cookies
a classic, authentic favorite

- 1 cup oil
- ½ cup white sugar1
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ teaspoon water
- 2 1 /2 cups flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 3 tablespoons softened butter
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 (if you are skipping chilling the dough)
In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients.
Then add wet ingredients and eggs.
Combine into well blended and uniform in consistency.
Chill dough
Drop by teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet.
Bake about 10 minutes or until edges of the cookies are golden brown.
