Okay, we haven't done a blogroll in a while, so thought I'd roll one out. Buckle up, climb into the blogmobile and let's get ready to sample anything and everything Plain that's been published over the past week or so!

    First stop:
BRUCE STAMBAUGH - MENNONITE BUGGY AT SUNSET - This is a beautiful, calming photo....it's Bruce's photo of the week, check it out here!

KATIE TROYER:   Katie does such superb work chronicling snowbird life in the Amish enclave of Pinecraft, Florida. I couldn't pick one post to share with you, so just check out her blog this week for all the latest comings and goings in Pinecraft. Man, reading that makes me want to head South! Click here.

Look at how wonderful this bread looks, I think I'd slather some cream cheese on it!

AMISH DATE AND NUT BREAD:    Hmmmmm, this looks really good and I know I'd love it. Date and nutty type things often tank with this readership, but let's give it a shot.  Check out this recipe over at Patricia's Patchwork Quilt blog!

STRINGTOWN AMISH GROCERY:  Meemaw at the Meemaw Eats blog paid a visit to this legendary Amish store in Kalona, Iowa and posts some superb photos.  This is a place I'd love to make it to someday and hopefully Meemaw can show me around.  I've heard about this store, it seems like just a very popular, well-run Amish bulk food emporium.  Click here for this superb post!

AMISH BOY PEEKING OVER A QUILT PAINTING:  Take a look at Cheryl McNulty's latest painting in progress, an Amish boy peeking over a quilt, I can't wait to see that! Click here.

AMISH CRUNCHY TOP HAM & NOODLE CASSEROLE:  Mmmmm, this casserole looks amazing! Click here for more.
