    We have some interesting stories and recipes this week, so let's get right to it!  But we begin with a tragedy.....

    FATAL ACCIDENT:  Usually, it is the Amish involved in a fatal accident, this time, though, a motorcycle hit a buggy somehow and killed the cyclist.  Read more here.

    BANKING ON THE AMISH:  An interesting story in a Cleveland business journal about the Amish as banking customers.  Banks like the Amish because, generally, they are a pretty low credit risk.  Click here to read this fun article.  Buggy loan, anyone?

    THE LAST RUSSIAN MENNONITES:  Actually, it's not Russia, it's Krygyzstan, a former part of the Soviet Union that is now a poor, mainly Muslim, outpost but one centuries old Mennonite enclave holds out, but it's down to its last 10 families....read more here...  Some great reporting by the New York Times!
