    Country Gatherings - Berlin, Ohio

Holy moly, this place is huge!  I think it has to be new, too. I don't remember seeing it during some of our other trips to Berlin.  At first I was a little hesitant to stop because I tend to like the smaller stores, especially the Amish-run home-based businesses.  But Berlin offers such a great mix of businesses and this store, which I learned is called Country Gatherings, looked so massive that it just beckoned.  So Rachel, Aster, Bea, and I trekked inside and found to be a fun place to browse.  Aster had a blast exploring and she especially loved the "fairy gardens."  SIGH, I guess that is a trend I haven't been on top of. My wife explained to me that they are very popular right now.    I'd just be happy to have a garden without weeds.

Country Gatherings has plenty of plants available for sale in a huge, huge greenhouse attached to their main building. Stroll out onto their patio area and you can see the verdant rolling hills and farms of Holmes, it is a beautiful contrast to busy Berlin.

Country Gatherings has about any yard decor imaginable, plus primitive indoor furnishings.

So, if you find yourself in Berlin - and, no, this is not an endorsed or paid post - I think you'd find stopping in there worthwhile. Here are some more scenes to give you a flavor.

There's definitely a lot to look at at Country Gatherings!
