I was wondering about your thoughts when I sent the comment Carl Sagan gave and the comment that all the sand on earth cannot be enough to represent the planets in the universe. Do you still believe we are the only life?
Kevin Williams
Hi, Sandra...I go back and forth...when you frame it like that, yeah, it seems inconceivable that we are the only life...BUT what kind of life? To get human life so many things had to go exactly right.....but, yeah, right now, I lean towards there being life elsewhere...But it probably isn't human-type, it could be plant life or cellular life or micro-organisms...It definitely is a question that can keep one up at night! This sounds good, except for the liquid smoke. Hubby is allergic to the stuff. Oklahoma is where I am from, but I never knew there was an Amish settlement there until today. That would be some place I would love to visit.

There are only a couple of settlements in Oklahoma, both near Chouteau, very small - but well-established - communities, you should check them out sometime!
