Egg-in-Nest: Delicious, easy, and traditional breakfast. Here is a bit more about this: The simple version involves just a slice of bread, a heavily buttered skillet, and an egg. Take a glass and cut a circle out of the bread, stick the bread into the warm buttered pan, crack the egg into the hole in the bread, fry the egg for a couple of minutes on each side and, presto. You have a decadently buttered piece of bread with an egg in the middle. Now, you can dress it up by putting some herbs in the butter, some diced ham in the eggs, or some tomato, etc...so, start with the simple version and go from there. Click here

Sour Cream Apple Pie: Amazing apple pie. To read more: This is a delicious sour cream apple pie recipe that comes to us from the New Order Amish settlement of Lyndonville, New York. This is a lush area rich in orchards not far from the shores of Lake Ontario. As apple season ramps up, this is a great time to try this pie. Rachel and I had some apples from a nearby orchard, so we put some into this pie. We used "honeycrisp" apples, a delicious fruit which tastes a lot like its name. This pie recipe uses sour cream, so it gives it a slightly custardy feel. A really delicious pie for a crisp fall day! Click here.
