We have some Amish in the news today, so let's plunge into it:
Could Linda Stolzfoos have walked away on her own?ty
LINDA STOLTZFOOS: This story is confounding. I hope I am not being irresponsible in speculating, but I'm still thinking that she went away on her own. Stranger abductions are extremely rare. And if it were an accident, such as she fell into a pond or something, I'd say the area has been searched extensively. If she walked away on her own accord...well, she is 18...it just makes sense. I hope that is the case because that would mean she is alive and well. The police are at least considering the scenario because they have released a composite of how she'd look dressed in non-Amish attire. Read more here.
MILLIE'S GLAZED BLUEBERRY BARS: Check in with Illinois Amish columnist Millie Otto this week and get an amazing-sounding recipe. Man, this just sounds incredible. Blueberry recipes, for some reason, only get marginal results on Amish365, but I love anything bursting with blueberries! Click here.
MENNONITES IN UTAH: This was a really good article about Mennonites, faith, and the pandemic as seen through the eyes of a Plain Mennonite family living in Utah. I love the photography with the article and I love the way they take the time to really explore the nuances. Excellent article. Click here.
MENNONITES IN UPSTATE NEW YORK: Interesting article about Mennonites and the pandemic in the Finger Lakes region of New York.

WHOOPIE PIES IN LOUISANA: The Baton Rouge newspaper isn't really where you'd expect to find a great recipe for whoopie pies, but, go figure. Click here to salivate over the photo and get the recipe.
