- 3 cups sugar
- 1 envelope plain gelatin
- 1 /4 stick butter
- 2 teaspoons flavoring (vanilla, spearmint or peppermint)
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 inch paraffin wax
- 1 cup boiling water
- Soak gelatin in cold water, then add rest of the ingredients. Cook to hard crack stage (250 degrees). Pour until buttered pans, pull until white.
