    Mrs. Mast's Emergency Biscuits

    In a pinch and need biscuits fast?  (I'm trying to imagine what would constitute an emergency that one would need biscuits.....perhaps unexpected company?  A surprise delivery of honey and nothing to drizzle it on?)  An Amish woman in Ohio has the answer with her recipe for "Emergency Biscuits."  Doesn't get much easier-sounding than this!

    Here is recipe for today,

    Make sure you note all ingredients correctly , enjoy 🙂

     

    Mrs. Mast's Emergency Biscuits

    Ingredients
    • 2 cups flour
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 4 teaspoons baking powder
    • 4 tablespoons shortening
    • 1 cup milk
    Instructions
    1. Mix first four ingredients well and add milk.
    2. Drop onto cookie sheet.
    3. Bake at 350 until golden.

      Yea, I like the Amish Cook and Plain Kansas but what happened to Teacher Mahlon and is he coming back?
