Tragically, The Amish Cook, Gloria Yoder, lost her beloved husband, Daniel, on April 4 in a tragic accident. They shared a love story for the ages and we all grieve his passing. Please leave your condolences in the comments and I will pass them along to Gloria.
Daniel was only 31-years-old. He died in a logging accident on Monday. Every attempt was made to save his life. He was flown by medical helicopter from southern Illinois to Evansville, Indiana, but, in the end, there was nothing they could do to save him.

I will pray that you find peace in whatever God has in store for you. Folks will tell you. "It will get better" It does not "Get Better", but you will get better at coping with it. There is no earthly reason why good people die so young; our only solace is knowing that God is our loving father and will carry you through this time. Our trust must remain in Him. You will have bad days and better days, and, even after time has passed, it will still be difficult. I am so terribly sorry for the loss of your wonderful husband. I know, from a personal perspective as I lost my husband on Sept 21, 2021, that no words will bring comfort more than the Word of God. Our forever faithful Father will hold you and keep you. I always hesitate when speaking to someone about the loss of their loved one because sometimes they also need quiet. My daughter said her biggest irritation when losing her father was people always asking if she was ok. I must say, for me it was people telling me to be strong for my children (our are all grown). But I say no, be weak, it's ok. The Father tells us He will be strong for us. It is in our weakness that He is strong. I am sorry if I ramble off subject, I just want you to know that it is ok to grieve. However you need to grieve is the right way for you. I will pray for you and your sweet babies.
