We have an abbreviated but interesting and delicious version of Amish in the News today.  First, let's start out in Ohio's Amish Country and check in with Chef Lee Ann Miller.

AMISH COUNTRY PEACH PIE:   Fox 8 in Cleveland teams up often with Amish country cook Lee Ann Miller to create some awesome Amish-inspired dishes from the Holmes County hills.  Check out her recipe here.

MY AMISH HOME:  Illinois Amish columnist Millie Otto serves up a recipe that a lot people will like this time of year: garlic dill pickle spears. Catch up with Millie and get the recipe here.

    An Amish buggy in Grabill....

AMISH RESTAURANT:  Wow, I saw this article in the Fort Wayne paper the other day and all I can think is "how the heck had I never heard of this place before???"  It sounds amazing.  And I was really intrigued by the part about the Amish woman marrying an outsider.  Converting to the Amish is very unusual, especially in the way in which described. I wish the article would have delved into that part more.  Anyway, if you are anywhere near Grabill, Indiana at all, or even not near, this place absolutely sounds worth checking out if you want an authentic Amish-made meal.
