Cherry Creek Inn - Amish Country Bed & Breakfast

    Published: Feb 14, 2012 · Updated: Feb 14, 2012 by Kevin Williams | Leave a Comment

If you're looking for a romantic weekend getaway or just a peaceful place to escape and enjoy some Amish ambiance, I highly recommend the Cherry Creek Inn in New York's Conewango Valley.  I have a love-hate relationship with bed & breakfasts. On one hand, there's the quaintness, history, and charm of a unique "mom and pop" place. On the other hand, you do lose some of the privacy and anonymity that makes a sterile chain hotel so appealing.  I don't often stay in bed & breakfasts, but I do have some favorite ones that give you a great way to experience Amish country in various areas.  I absolutely love the Cherry Creek Inn. Staying there is a great base from which to explore the sprawling Conewango Valley Amish settlement.  Click here for their website and click here to watch a video interview with the proprietor.
