    Random Recipe: Easiest Amish Pork Chops Ever

    About as simple as it gets! This is is a recipe from an Amish woman in Michigan.  Cream of mushroom soup is a standby in many Amish kitchens.

    Random Recipe: Amish Pork Chops

    Ingredients
    • Butterflied pork chops
    • 1 can mushroom soup
    • 1 c. ketchup
    • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    • ½ c. onion, chopped
    Instructions
    1. Lay butterflied pork chops in a baking dish.
    2. Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over top.
    3. Bake 1 hour at 375 degrees.

      I fixed this recipe for dinner tonight. I wondered about the addition of ketchup to a baked pork chop. Served with fresh green and yellow beans and corn on the cob, it was a tasty meal. I think this recipe is more appealing to me as a summer recipe, as I prefer a savory taste during the winter (in MI). Also, in the future, I would bake it longer and at a lower temp.
