Since there's no human way for anyone to read every single post every single day, these "rewinds" are a great way to read something you might have missed or reconnect with a forgotten favorite.  So, enjoy!

AMISH SOFT PRETZEL:  Easy homemade recipe for what has become an Amish favorite! Check out the recipe here.

CARAMEL-WRAPPED CHOCOLATE DIPPED PRETZELS:  I found these beauties being created in a little Brethren bakeshop tucked away in a house near Gettysburg, Ohio.  These tasted absolutely amazing! Click here for the recipe.

Flat Rock Pudding, a unique confection found in The Amish Cook's community of Flat Rock, Ill

FLAT ROCK PUDDING:  I had this dessert one time about four years ago and I've never forgotten. Someday I'll have to make a list of sweets I must have one more time before I check out of Planet Earth and this dessert will probably be at the top of the list. AMAZING pudding. Click here for the recipe.

HONEY BARS:   This is another personal favorite.  The mayonnaise in the glaze makes for interesting conversation, but it really does work. The taste of these bars are awesome. I'm going to have to make these again sometime soon. Click here for the recipe.

AMISH101:  If you are new, or even not new, and want a refresher on how some of the Amish feel about basics like photography, and what is rumspringa? and other stuff, check out my explanations here in Amish101!

I love the Amish recipes. I love to cook, bake and can. They have given me so many interesting recipes and different things I have attributed from their posts. I am in the process of putting together a cookbook for my daughter and grnddaughter. I have accumulated several recipes from the Amish postings of which I find interesting and very tasteful. I think my daughter and grnddaughter will agree with me on this. Thank you for all the delicious recipes and please keep them coming.
