I do love waffles. Â I should eat them more. Â When I do eat a sweet breakfast, I tend to gravitate towards French toast and pancakes but, man, a waffle done right is amazing. Â Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, slathered with butter and drenched in syrup. Yum.
So here are six recipes from Amish kitchens about either how to make, or enjoy, WAFFLES!

Kevin,
There is a Waffle House in Monroe, OH along Hwy 63 just west of the combination Wendy's & Tim Horton's restaurant (in the area where the Outlet Mall is located). I've never eaten there so I can't vouch for it.

Thanks, yeah, I have seen that...and there is one in Franklin at 123 and on Route 4 towards Hamilton (sadly, I know my Waffle Houses), but none of those carry the "convenience factor" of being able to go to one two minutes away in M-town...No place in town really to get a good waffle, is there?
