Classic Amish Cinnamon Rolls: Well, yeah, these are classic. Here's more:
I've become quite the Amish cinnamon roll connoisseur over the years. I have the expanded jeans size to prove that. SIGH. I've tasted caramel pecan cinnamon rolls, pumpkin cinnamon rolls, and coffee-iced cinnamon rolls. But I keep coming back to basics as my favorite, your classic, tried-and-true white-iced cinnamon rolls. The icing is key but so is the filling. Nothing worse than a dry cinnamon roll inside. SIGH, I have tried store-bought cinnamon rolls and they just can't compare. Yeah, those Pillsbury rolls in a can will do in a pinch, but only in a pinch.
Amish Cherry Coffeecake: Coffeecakes fall in the category of breakfast breads and are a favorite in Amish kitchens with a steaming mug of coffee. If you are looking for a good, easy coffeecake recipe, give this a try! Click here.

Authentic Rivel Soup: This is a winter classic among the Amish. Check it out here.
Brown Flour Potato Soup: This will warm you up on a winter's day. Here's a bit more about this one:
Old-fashioned brown flour potato soup is a very easy, scratch-made recipe. Recipes like this were once staples in Amish and Mennonite homes. This recipe comes to us from a Mennonite woman. And you don’t see recipes like this as much anymore. Certainly there’s still plenty of old-timers in Amish and Mennonite communities who fix recipes like this. And at it’s core, this is really just an old-fashioned potato soup. Still, the browned flour, and the scarcity of other ingredients in it, just point to it as an old-fashioned great depression dish
Stuffed Green Pepper Soup: Wow, this one will warm the soul on a cold winter's day. Click here for the recipe.

Rebecca Stoll's Pot Roast Meatloaf: This recipe is a perfect winter comfort food. Here's more about this one:
And the verdict is: delicious! This is a very easy, one-pan meal that filled the house with the most tantalizing aroma! I used a 13x9x2 pan, but a rimmed baking sheet would work as well. If you like onion in your meat loaf, you can always add ½ cup chopped onion to the meat mixture before baking. This recipe is an instant favorite; I recommend it highly.
