    Two Flavorful Mennonite Recipes

    Published: Jul 23, 2020 · Updated: Oct 1, 2020 by Kevin Williams | Leave a Comment

The Mennonite cookbook featured on today's Amish Etsy has some really great, traditional old Mennonite recipes on its pages and I thought I'd share a couple with you today...interestingly, hamburger, in the recipes is called "hamburg" that seems to be an old linguistic custom that I find in older Amish cookbooks from Lancaster County.  Read more about this Mennonite cookbook here.

Charming Mennonite cookbook, having been published in Lancaster County in the late 70s, I'd bet this book is a goldmine of authentic PA Dutch recipes...
