We have a whole slate of interesting stuff in this week's blogroll.   So let's get right to it!

    Amish Fudge Nut Cookies

AMISH FUDGE NUT COOKIES:  Patricia at her Patchwork Quilt blog posted a delicious-looking Amish recipe for fudge nut cookies. Yum. What is there to not like about these?  Click here to enjoy!

STATES WITH JUST A SINGLE AMISH COMMUNITY:  This is an interesting post from Erik at the Amish America blog about state's that just have one Amish settlement.  I had heard of all of those except for one: an Amish church in Wyoming?  Wow, that is interesting...didn't know there was one in Wyoming, the community is near Devils Tower, I'll have to put that one on my "Amish community bucket list!."  Click here to see the full list.

MEEMAW'S FRIED CORNMEAL MUSH:   This is a recipe from one of my favorite blogs, MeeMaw Eats, it is for Fried Cornmeal Mush.  Click here for the recipe.  And as an added bonus, I'll share an Amish cornmeal pie recipe with you that I have in my archives:

    MARY'S CORNMEAL PIE

    2 eggs, beaten

    1 1 /2 cups brown sugar

    3 tablespoons butter

    4 tablespoons cream

    2 tablespoons cornmeal

Mix all the above ingredients together.. Pour into an unbaked pie shell. Bake at 300 for 35-40 minutes.

AMISH APPLE CRUMB PIE:   I saw this recipe and it looks like it's from one of our cookbooks, which is pretty cool! Can't tell which one for sure and, honestly, those were written so long ago now I can't remember which recipes were in which.  But pretty cool, the blogger did a gorgeous job with it. Click here for the recipe and pie!

And two from our "blog spin" department this week!
