Rosanna's rhubarb cream pie

Aster and I (she talks pretty well for a 2 1 /2 year old) were discussing our favorite desserts the other day.  I asked what hers was and she said "ice cream."  And then she turned the question around: "What is your favorite dessert, dada?"  I thought about it a minute and answer "cookies."  And she said "Like cookie monster?"   Yes, like cookie monster. For me, if the cookie is done right, there are few things better than a moist sweety, perfectly textured cookie.  Then I thought about it and told that pie was pretty close to the top also.  The problem with cake is that you really just get a layer of icing on top of a thick piece of cake....for me, the icing is the main attraction, so why waste a bunch of stomach space on that?  With cookies and pie you seem to get more sweet out of it...So here are five  pie "Friday Favorites" from the Amish365.com archives.
